Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, or form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate press brake machines (manual and/or CNC) to produce parts per blueprints and work orders., • Select appropriate tooling, dies, and punches based on material type and thickness., • Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, and tape measures., • Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy of bends., • Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or defects., • Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and job travelers., • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and housekeeping standards., • Complete production documentation and record any deviations or issues., • Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any major mechanical issues. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred., • 5 years of experience operating a press brake (CNC experience is a plus)., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings., • Strong math and measuring skills., • Familiarity with different types of metals and their bending characteristics., • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods., • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work., • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and PPE requirements., • Plate and Angle Roll experience is a plus Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with CNC press brake brands such as Pacific, Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf, or Cincinnati., • Forklift certification., • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge. Job Description The Orion Docking Integration Lead will support the space program located in Houston, TX. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide insight to and oversight of tasks related to the integration of Co-Manifested Payload (International Habitat, Refueling Module, Airlock, etc) docking mechanisms, relative navigation sensors, avionics, and software within the Orion spacecraft architecture., • Coordinate activities across Orion and Gateway programs, including coordination across US suppliers and International Partners., • Participate and/or lead working groups to resolve technical issues, requirement disconnects, facilitate changes, etc., • Analyze partner and provider requirements to assess conflicts, gaps, and adequate flow down and decomposition of the NASA program requirements., • Assist in the planning, development, review, and maintenance of requirements and verification plans, products, and closures., • Lead NASA reviews and prepare materials for system life cycle milestones, including Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Hardware Acceptance Reviews, and Flight Readiness Reviews., • Review and provide feedback to Docking-related Safety Hazard reports. Participate in the NASA safety panel reviews and work with providers to resolve identified concerns., • Participate in a real-time flight support role requiring knowledge of docking system and vehicle operations, flight rules, and contingency procedures. This would also require training with a mission support team under various flight scenarios in the JSC Mission Control Center., • Work with team members to identify risks, develop risk statements, and plan risk responses, including program level risks., • Review vendor submitted data, such as verification closure notices, and recommend NASA acceptance or provide comments to identify and resolve shortcomings., • Work in a team environment and report to the team lead to provide status on progress and issues., • Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors., • Travel as needed to other NASA centers and commercial partner facilities, international and domestic, in support of duties., • Other duties as assigned. It would be exceptionally beneficial to have 7EA experience., • Utilize Process Information (PI) tools for monitoring, analysis and graphical representation of Gas Turbine and LNG Compressor stations, • Build databases of known field issues and their indicators for reference during troubleshooting., • Willing to share current knowledge of systems and expand to other engine types and technologies., • Interact with team of aerothermal and performance engineers to define and develop best approaches and architecture philosophies for GT performance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and health monitoring models., • Clearly communicate corrective actions to customers via e-mails and/or phone calls., • Help refine automated tools and templates as necessary for recurring tasks to improve team responsiveness and productivity., • U.S. and international travel may be required., • Respond during working and non-working hours., • Includes overtime and rotational shifts, • Facilitate and actively work to ensure all quality documentation is correct, complete, timely, and recorded as appropriate., • Individuals with LNG compressor experience is a plus., • Looking particularly for individuals who have GE7EA experience used for LNG compressor stations. Skills/Experience • 5+ years of experience (minimum) as a start-up/commissioning engineer working on F/G/H/J class combined cycle industrial gas Turbines and associated auxiliaries and systems., • Experience with Industrial Gas Turbine general architecture and design, knowledge of Gas Turbine support systems and associated supervisory instrument limits and alarm levels., • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers consisting of controls, IC&E aerothermal, structural, and mechanical design engineers as well as startup and commissioning engineers., • Working knowledge and experience with GT control systems (GE- MKVi, MKVie, Siemens – T3K, MHI- Netmation and or ABB – Symphony or Composer) and OSI PI Soft., • Candidate should have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines., • Utilize appropriate design/analysis tools as necessary, data gathering and reduction (PI, MS Excel) along with MS office suite of tools for scheduling, reporting, presentations, and others., • Candidate should have cross functionality knowledge in order to be able to work and coordinate the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team., • Multilingual candidates are a plus.
