We're looking for a Procurement Specialist who thrives in the world of precision, pricing, and partnership. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our procurement engine. As Procurement Specialist, your focus will be on helping our hospitals save lives by making sure they have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. You'll be collaborating across teams, solving supply challenges before they arise, and helping us build systems that scale with our mission. At VEG, procurement is a frontline partner. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Maintain and curate VEG's item master list (updating price, manufacturer information as needed), • Assist VEG hospitals in their louvered and bin system allowing organization and visibility into inventory levels, • Utilize our procurement system, Coupa, on a regular basis to automate spending across to organization, • Responsible for maintaining Coupa (adding/updating users, ensuring users are linked to the correct location, troubleshooting PO failures and invoice discrepancies, updating approval chains to align with hospital changes), • Serve as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, building and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships, • Coordinate with key stakeholders to establish par levels and min/max levels, • Run monthly KPIs to identify trends and areas of opportunity to reduce spend and increase efficiency, • Create strong relationships and partnership with our frontliners, specifically hospital leadership, operations managers and inventory coordinators, • Communicate regularly with our front lines to ensure they have what they need when they need it, • Maintain and update Medical Director's license information with vendors to ensure timely procurement of controlled substances, • Collaborate with hospitals to ensure inventory systems are used properly (Par Excellence), • Perform audits on our inventory systems ensuring accuracy of data, • Assist with Par Excellence implementation as needed WHAT YOU NEED • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (Supply Chain, or Inventory Management experience), • Strong attention to detail, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Computer proficiency – G suite, Microsoft office, Zoom etc., • Ability to travel to hospitals as needed, • Coupa experience preferred HOW WE INVEST IN YOU • Competitive Compensation Including ($60,000 to $75,000) + bonus + benefits., • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, and access to free therapy or counseling, • Paid parental leave, up to 10 weeks at 100% of regular salary, and offering inclusive fertility and family-building care for all types of families, • Unlimited PTO to use for vacation or sick days - however you need it!, • Generous referral rewards, so our awesome people can bring in more awesome people., • And the little (big) things, like casual office attire, ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, food in the fridge for when you're hungry and free lunches twice a week!!, • Company laptop and a monthly cell phone reimbursement BETTER TOGETHER: WHY IN-PERSON MATTERS AT VEG HQ Our hospitals thrive on in-person collaboration, and VQ is no different.
