Job Description We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Director of Sales to lead the revenue generation efforts for our IHG-branded hotel. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive occupancy, maximize ADR, and grow overall market share in alignment with brand standards and ownership goals. The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales leader with deep hospitality experience, strong market knowledge, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals across all market segments (corporate, group, leisure, government, and SMERF)., • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure performance excellence and accountability., • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts., • Prepare and manage annual sales budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports., • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and inventory controls., • Represent the hotel in the local community and industry events to strengthen brand presence., • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel managers, meeting planners, and third-party partners., • Ensure full compliance with InterContinental Hotels Group brand standards and sales systems., • Utilize IHG sales tools and reporting platforms effectively to track production and performance., • Work closely with the General Manager to align sales initiatives with overall operational objectives. Qualifications • Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales leadership experience (IHG experience preferred)., • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals., • Strong understanding of hotel financials, STR reports, and market analytics., • Experience with IHG systems and tools preferred., • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills., • Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies accordingly., • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
