Position Summary We are seeking a result-oriented, dynamic and experienced Global IT Director who will lead the strategy and roadmap of the Company’s IT department globally. This pivotal leadership role will oversee the strategic implementation and management of advanced technologies, with a focus on analytics, artificial intelligence, and other cutting-edge solutions. The IT Director will collaborate closely with the CEO and President to align IT initiatives with business objectives, driving innovation and operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven leader with a comprehensive understanding of the IT landscape - including applications, networking, security, and helpdesk operations—and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. With a focus on manufacturing, sales, and distribution environments, this role requires a go-getter who can command the full spectrum of IT responsibilities, leveraging hands-on expertise to build transformative solutions that enhance business performance. This role will play a critical role in safeguarding the company's operational integrity and mitigate risks, ingraining "compliance by design" culture. They will report directly into the President of the company. Responsibilities • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the IT strategy, emphasizing the integration of AI, data analytics, and automation to drive business innovation and efficiency., • Technology Oversight: Manage and optimize the organization’s IT ecosystem, including applications, networking infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and helpdesk operations., • AI Innovation: Identify, design, and implement AI-driven applications or features that enhance business processes, such as predictive analytics, process automation, or customer insights, tailored to manufacturing, sales, and distribution needs., • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders to understand their challenges and deliver IT solutions that support operational excellence and revenue growth., • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical expertise in advanced technologies., • Security & Compliance: work closely with director of cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring robust protection of company data and systems while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations., • Budget & Resource Management: Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and ROI on technology investments, including AI projects., • Operational Excellence: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of IT systems, including AI-driven tools and the helpdesk, to support day-to-day operations and long-term growth., • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or MSc) preferred, • CSOP, CISA, CPA certifications strongly preferred., • Internal and External auditor experience for Fortune 100 companies strongly preferred., • 7+ years with direct experience with SAP software, • 15+ years of experience in IT management, governance, SOX compliance, or internal controls within multinational organizations; with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing global IT operations of a publicly traded company, • Successful track record of leading IT compliance programs, remediating deficiencies, material weaknesses, collaborating with internal and external auditors., • Familiarity with GRC tools, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), IGA, and reporting solutions., • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities., • Risk Identification & Analysis: Adept in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks related to technology, financial reporting, cybersecurity, and data privacy., • Control Design & Implementation: Hands-on experience developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and controls, particularly focusing on financial reporting risks., • Internal Control Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks such as SOX, COSO, COBIT, and ISO 27001 for establishing and maintaining internal controls., • Control Testing & Monitoring: Experience evaluating control design and effectiveness, conducting control testing, and ensuring ongoing controls monitoring of systems, applications, and technology processes., • IT Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, and networks., • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Knowledge of secure development practices, including secure coding, vulnerability testing, and release management., • Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Understanding business continuity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and maintaining operational resilience., • Team Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness., • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work with other business units (e.g., IT, business, internal and external audit, legal, compliance) to ensure alignment of internal controls and risk management strategies., • Stakeholder Communication: Skilled in presenting complex risk and control issues to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner., • Results-Driven: Must be able to drive outcomes.
