Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Foreman / Working Lead Carpenter to join our team. Based out of the Boston Seaport, this role is hands-on and leadership-driven—ideal for someone with 10–15+ years of experience in residential renovation and small-scale construction. This individual must be capable of performing most aspects of bathroom, kitchen, deck, and basement remodels, while also coordinating closely with Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and Construction Supervisors to keep projects advancing efficiently and safely. This position requires regular travel to job sites across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Cape Cod & the Islands, Central MA, and occasionally New York City and other regional locations. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with occasional Saturday work depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities • Perform and lead daily construction activities across remodeling projects (bathrooms, kitchens, decks, basements, etc.)., • Prepare, mobilize, and set up job sites including materials acquisition, staging, layout, and workflow planning., • Oversee and enforce jobsite safety, quality control, and adherence to scope of work (SOW)., • Coordinate with APMs, PMs, and Construction Supervisors to ensure project milestones, inspections, and schedule requirements are met., • Communicate professionally with homeowners, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers., • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical documents., • Execute punch lists, manage change orders on site when directed, and maintain clean, organized job sites., • Use construction management platforms (e.g., ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6) for documentation, scheduling, and reporting., • Uphold company standards, culture, and safety protocols at all times. Qualifications • 10–15+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling or small-scale construction., • Proven ability to lead while actively performing work in carpentry, framing, finish work, and general renovations., • Strong understanding of building codes, OSHA standards, and safe work practices., • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents., • Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and schedules., • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills., • Growth-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude., • Reliable transportation required; candidate must have a clean, professional unmarked work truck or van and essential tools., • Ability to travel throughout MA, RI, Cape Cod, and periodically NYC for project-specific needs.
