    The Congregate Meal Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering prepared meals to designated congregate meal sites, community centers, or partner locations. This role ensures that meals are delivered on time, handled safely, and distributed in accordance with food safety standards while providing courteous service to staff and program participants. Key Responsibilities: Pick up prepared meals from the kitchen or distribution center. Safely transport and deliver meals to assigned congregate meal sites according to scheduled routes and timelines. Ensure meals are handled, stored, and transported in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Verify meal counts and delivery documentation before and after each route. Assist with loading and unloading meal containers, equipment, and supplies. Maintain communication with program coordinators regarding delivery status, delays, or issues. Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns. Provide friendly and respectful interaction with site staff and program participants. Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and organizational policies. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Previous delivery or driving experience preferred. Ability to lift and carry meal containers (typically 25–40 lbs). Good time management and organizational skills. Strong reliability and punctuality. Ability to work independently and follow assigned routes. Basic communication skills.
