Job Description Overview Oversee daily operations for Lupara Facility Services Group LLC, including staffing, scheduling, quality control, client satisfaction, training, supply and equipment management, safety, and overall service execution. This role ensures efficient, clear, best-practice systems and processes that create consistent, high-quality results for clients while stewarding company resources in alignment with the organization’s standards, goals, and growth. Responsibilities Oversee daily field operations for all assigned accounts, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Manage and support janitorial staff, floor technicians, leads, and other field personnel through scheduling, coaching, accountability, and regular communication. Develop, implement, and maintain clear operational systems, procedures, checklists, and expectations for routine cleaning, periodic services, inspections, and special projects. Ensure buildings, client sites, equipment, supplies, and service areas are maintained in a professional, safe, operational, and aesthetically excellent manner. Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks to ensure service consistency and client satisfaction. Respond to client concerns, service issues, call-outs, emergencies, and special requests in a timely and professional manner. Oversee staffing needs, including interviewing, hiring support, onboarding, training, and retention efforts in collaboration with company leadership. Manage employee schedules, route planning, shift coverage, timekeeping review, and labor allocation to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate and oversee floor care, carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and other specialty services as needed. Oversee supply inventory, ordering, distribution, storage, and usage to ensure teams have the materials needed while controlling waste and unnecessary cost. Manage company equipment and assets, including inspection, maintenance scheduling, repairs, replacements, and accountability. Oversee relationships, service needs, and coordination with outside vendors, subcontractors, and repair providers as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records, including inspections, incident reports, corrective actions, maintenance logs, inventory records, and client communication. Ensure compliance with company safety standards, client requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Develop and implement corrective action plans when service standards, attendance, safety, or performance issues arise. Monitor operational performance, labor efficiency, and service quality, and communicate immediate and long-range needs to ownership/leadership. Assist in developing and managing operational budgets related to labor, supplies, repairs, equipment, and service delivery. Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives, account transitions, new client onboarding, and service expansion opportunities. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, both on and off client property. Uphold company policies and procedures, goals, values, and service expectations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Possess a working knowledge of operations management, janitorial or facility services, staffing, scheduling, inspections, training, and developing systems and procedures. Experience managing employees in a fast-paced service environment preferred. Ability to plan, schedule, and accomplish tasks in a timely manner. Ability to self-supervise, act decisively, solve problems, and collaborate well with others. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as needed. Ability to lead teams with professionalism, accountability, and consistency. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, clients, vendors, and leadership. Ability to use a computer and necessary software, including scheduling, timekeeping, inspection, payroll, email, spreadsheets, and related operational platforms. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, work orders, and client scopes of work. Ability to maintain and oversee multiple areas of operations in a clear, efficient, and organized manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion. Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to service excellence. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Janitorial, facilities, floor care, or commercial cleaning management experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, driving, walking job sites, and standing during inspections or field support. Regularly required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, speak, hear, and use hands to operate tools, equipment, and devices. Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate or oversee the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, autoscrubbers, mops, pressure washers, and various hand tools. Must correctly wear all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment while performing assigned duties.
