Job DescriptionLegal Assistant / Paralegal Established 20+ Years Premier Firm Seeking Legal Assistant in Fresno, CAAn established firm based in Fresno with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Legal Assistant/ Paralegal with a minimum of three years of experience to join their team onsite. This Paralegal will have experience assisting attorneys with prep work, editing, drafting documents, and more. Offer: Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000, contingent on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offThis role can be remote for the right person! Qualifications:The candidate must reside in CA, within commuting distance to Fresno. The candidate must possess a bachelors, a paralegal certificate is preferred. The candidate should have at least three years of employment law paralegal experience. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel, strong research and writing skills, and excellent verbal communication abilities. The candidate must have a working knowledge of legal descriptions and searches, be detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment. The candidate should be well organized, self-motivated, and a team player. Responsibilities: The paralegal will handle business transactions and corporate maintenance work. The paralegal will prepare and conduct UCC filings and searches. The paralegal will create entity formation and organizational documents, including articles of incorporation, minutes, and stock certificates. The paralegal will prepare deeds and legal descriptions and research property titles. The paralegal will assist with paperwork required by regulatory bodies. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
