We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to support our expanding docket of real estate and business litigation matters. This role may be full-time or part-time and offers the flexibility of remote, hybrid, or in-person work, depending on the candidate’s preference. Responsibilities • Manage a variety of civil litigation matters, including real estate disputes, business litigation, breach of contract claims, and related issues., • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents with precision., • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare high-quality written briefs, memoranda, and case analyses., • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials., • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies while maintaining clear communication with clients and opposing counsel., • Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss case progress and strategy., • Collaborate with paralegals and firm staff to manage deadlines and ensure consistent workflow., • Maintain responsibility for an independent caseload with minimal supervision while upholding firm standards., • Foster and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional communication. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school., • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas., • Demonstrated litigation experience with a solid understanding of real estate, business, contract law, and related civil litigation matters., • Strong writing and drafting skills with proven experience preparing motions, pleadings, and discovery., • Proficiency in legal research utilizing platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw., • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills with a record of successful settlements or favorable case outcomes., • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment., • Prior legal administrative or case management experience is preferred but not required.
