Job DescriptionStep into the Shop: A Day in This Apprenticeship Picture your morning starting alongside seasoned technicians, reviewing the day’s preventive maintenance list and gathering tools for inspections. You’ll shadow a lead mechanic to learn diagnostic techniques, assist with basic repairs, and help keep equipment running safely and smoothly. Throughout the day, you’ll practice safe tool use, follow clear instructions, and contribute to a clean, organized workspace—growing your skills one task at a time. Schedule • Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, • Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM, • Sundays as needed, • Overtime: Built into the schedule What You’ll Do, • Assist senior mechanics with preventive maintenance activities, • Support equipment inspections and carry out basic repairs under supervision, • Help troubleshoot mechanical issues while learning proper diagnostic methods, • Use hand and power tools safely (training provided), • Follow written and verbal directions, safety protocols, and company procedures, • Collaborate with technicians and maintenance teammates, • Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe What You Bring, • Basic mechanical or technical aptitude, • Ability to use basic hand/power tools—or a strong willingness to learn, • Comfort with measurements and simple calculations, • Ability to take direction and work under supervision, • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and motivation, • Team-oriented mindset and clear communication, • Steel-toe footwear required, • Role is primarily hands-on Nice-to-Have Experience, • Interest in learning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, • Background in any of the following:, • Mechanical work, • Facilities maintenance, • Construction, • Apprentice roles, • Forklift certification (a plus, not required), • Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus), • Owning your own basic hand tools (we supply power tools and additional tools) Grow With Us, • Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced mechanics, • A clear path to a long-term career in the mechanical field, • Supportive, team-first environment, • Consistent full-time hours with built-in overtime Proficiencies We Value, • Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, • Pneumatics Experience, • Hydraulics Experience, • Electrical Systems Diagnostics & Repair, • Electrical Troubleshooting, • Pneumatics Troubleshooting, • Industrial Electrical Experience
