Job Description Position Title: Corner Board Machine Operator Location: Warren (Lordstown) Ohio POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Machine Operator to operate corner board machinery within our manufacturing facility KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Stocking all paper and product including inventory neatly using organizing skills, • Operate Corner Board Machines properly per SOPS and utilize quality specifications per standard operating procedures (SOPS)., • Meet production quotas within a reasonable training/retraining time period., • Ensure housekeeping of equipment and surrounding area is acceptable per SOP. This must be completed daily (clean machines, seep floor, clean any oil spills, return tools and any spare parts etc.), • Follow safety SOPS and maintain proper use on all PPE at all times of operation (Personal Protective Equipment), • Generate accurate daily production reporting for Supervisor., • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, monthly., • Maintain possession and good condition of assigned tools., • Alert Supervisor of potential maintenance and/ or safety concerns. Follow all JSA and LOTO procedures., • Receive and follow designated jo process and safety training., • Perform assigned preventative maintenance of the equipment., • Operate forklift only if trained to do so. Use a Pallet Jack for most product movements., • Perform other duties assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or GED Equivalent, • Related experience is preferred., • Good oral and written communication skills, • Basic math skills, • Ability to read micrometer, caliper, and tape measure Our ideal candidate is: • Punctual-Comes to work every day and on time, • Respectful of coworkers and Supervisors, • Hard working, • Eager to learn multiple jobs and want to grow with the company, • Forklift experience if helpful but not required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
