Job Description About the Role: Summer at Lakeside is currently recruiting for a Musical Theater Teacher to teach at our Investigative Learning Camp, an academic and experiential summer camp designed for students entering Grades 5-8. Classes include “Musical Theater: Classical Vibes and Modern Styles,” which runs July 6-July 10 and July 20-24, 12:30-3:30 p.m. and “Musical Theater: New York, New York,” which runs July 13-17 and July 27-31, 12:30-3:30 p.m. The Investigative Learning Camp (ILC) offers students the opportunity to take classes covering STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)-based topics. All courses encourage creative play and hands-on learning; courses are project-based and do not assume students have any previous knowledge of the subject matter. No homework is assigned. These classes run July 6 – July 31, Monday - Friday, 12:30-3:30 p.m. (as listed above). There will be a mandatory orientation meeting on Wednesday, July 1.
