Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Harmony Campus 2315, US:CO:Fort Collins Department: UCHlthMG Urology Ctr Ft Collins FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Summary: Provides care of urologic patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or provider and assists with minor procedures. Responsibilities: Obtains patient history and vital signs. Explains procedures, documents care, and communicates findings with RN and Physician. Assists with urologic radiographic and ultrasound examinations and cystoscopies. Performs UDS studies with Provider is present. Assists with minor surgical procedures. Performs urinary catheter insertions and removals. Performs laboratory duties. Assists with simple dressing changes. Communicates prescription refill requests to Physician and calls in refills to pharmacy. Performs delegated clinical tasks with a written provider order. Collects or prepares specimens. Administers medications and injections per practice-specific guidelines. Sends specimens to testing laboratory. Communicates abnormal results to providers. Cleans and restocks rooms, supplies and equipment. Transports patients. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: • Basic Life Support UCHealth invests in its Workforce.
