Job Description CareATC: Provide patient care the way you always envisioned within a Health Center setting. About This Opportunity: We are looking for a Clinical Assistant, with Limited License in Radiography (LLR). This role requires excellent customer service skills, excellent patient care skills, great communication, and concierge level customer service! The Role of the Medical Assistant with BXMO: • Greet patients, general administrative duties using company assigned electronic medical record, • Measure and record vital signs, collects blood and urine as needed while keeping exam rooms clean and disinfected between patients., • Clerical responsibilities including registration, answering phones, scheduling and referral management, • Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the Basic X-ray Machine Operator role with or without direct supervision, • Follows all clinical, basic x-ray scope and clerical protocols per company policy and state guidelines., • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards. (Performs routine x-ray exam and procedures while following scope of work for a Basic X-ray Machine Operator in the state of FL.)Takes X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients while implementing infection control procedures for the work area. Positions patients and takes X-rays of specific parts of the patient’s body as requested by Provider) Ensures x-ray has a clear image, retaking image(s) as appropriate. Sends image to appropriate provider for review, • Maintains and documents required records in EMR, including but not limited to patient records, daily logs, and monthly/quarterly reports. Performs quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by rules & state regulations, and departmental policies. Complies with safety standards including using dosimetry badge while performing x-rays., • Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining equipment servicing and repairs., • Maintains and orders radiographic supplies as necessary Hours- Mon - Friday 8am - 5pm The CareATC Difference: Our unique model partners directly with the employer and does not use the traditional fee-for-service health care.
