A services organization in Texas is looking to add a compassionate and hardworking Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) to its Workplace Health & Safety team. As a vital resource for the site's employees, the Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) will be responsible for providing first aid, health guidance, and safety education. About the Opportunity: • Shift: Night Shift, • Schedule: 4 shifts per week, • Hours: 6pm-4:30am, • Deliver first aid care and refer employees to external medical providers as needed, • Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, • Maintain accurate records of care and submit end-of-shift reports, • Provide coaching on at-risk work behaviors and ergonomic practices, • Attend safety committee and case management meetings, • Conduct random saliva drug testing, • Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean treatment area, • Participate in CPR, First Aid, and AED certification training sessions, • Respond to on-site emergencies and provide critical care, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider One of the following: • Valid EMT or Paramedic Certification (State or NREMT), • Minimum 6 months of recent U.S. military medical experience (e.g., Combat Medic, Corpsman), • Active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or state equivalent), • Certified instructor in First Aid/CPR/AED (AHA or ARC), • Experience in industrial wellness or occupational health settings, • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures, • Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders and coaching on body mechanics, • Skilled in digital recordkeeping systems, • Proficient in Microsoft Office
