Job Description Job Title: Inventory Receiving & Data Entry Specialist Job Description This role supports warehouse operations by receiving incoming inventory, maintaining accurate material traceability records, and processing precise inventory transactions within the ERP system. You will organize and label inventory, manage documentation, and perform data entry to help keep the warehouse efficient, compliant, and well organized. Responsibilities • Receive and unpack incoming inventory shipments from internal facilities and external locations., • Verify received materials against packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records to ensure accuracy., • Review, scan, and electronically file traceability documentation, certifications, and other required records., • Accurately enter inventory information into the ERP system, including part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, serial numbers, and traceability details., • Label, sort, and organize inventory according to established company procedures., • Assist with stocking, shelving, and put-away activities within the warehouse., • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities as needed., • Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, quality, and production teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies., • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company quality standards., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times., • Operate scanners, computers, printers, and other warehouse technology on a daily basis. Essential Skills • High school diploma or equivalent., • 1+ year of experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics (preferred but strongly valued)., • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and use ERP systems., • Proficiency in data entry and document management., • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills., • Ability to accurately handle inventory documentation and traceability records., • Comfort working extensively on a computer as part of daily responsibilities., • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk throughout the shift., • Strong communication and teamwork skills., • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, picking, cycle counts, and RF scanners., • Familiarity with Microsoft Office for basic documentation and reporting. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Quantum, IQMS, Epicor, or similar platforms., • Experience handling inventory documentation, certifications, lot tracking, or traceability records., • Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, or other regulated warehouse environments., • Prior experience using RF scanners and other warehouse technologies for inventory management., • Exposure to inventory warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving workflows., • Ability to adapt to evolving processes and learn new systems quickly. The role involves frequent use of computers, ERP systems, RF scanners, printers, and other warehouse technology, as well as regular interaction with warehouse, quality, inventory, and production teams in a fast-paced but organized setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
