The Corporate Director of Field Marketing is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving localized marketing performance across Makeready’s portfolio of independent and lifestyle hotels, restaurants, and experiential brands. This role ensures that each property is positioned strongly within its market, marketing initiatives align with brand and commercial strategy, and field-level execution delivers measurable business results. This leader partners closely with property teams, Commercial Strategy, Revenue Management, Brand, Operations, and Ownership to translate portfolio strategy into impactful, market-specific marketing plans that increase awareness, drive revenue, and strengthen brand presence Requested Tasks • Directly lead, mentor, and develop a team of Area Marketing Managers overseeing clusters of properties., • Establish clear performance expectations, priorities, and measurable goals for field marketing leaders., • Ensure consistent execution of marketing strategy, brand standards, and commercial initiatives across all regions., • Provide strategic oversight for localized marketing across a multi-property portfolio of lifestyle and independent hotels and restaurants., • Translate Makeready’s brand and commercial strategy into actionable field-level marketing plans., • Ensure each property maintains strong local positioning while staying aligned with Makeready’s brand philosophy., • Lead marketing strategy for new openings, repositionings, and transition properties., • Guide Area Marketing Managers in developing and executing annual and quarterly marketing plans tailored to each property’s market dynamics., • Ensure strong integration of digital marketing, social media, PR, partnerships, programming, and experiential initiatives., • Strengthen local partnerships, community engagement, and cultural programming to drive market relevance and brand awareness., • Oversee agency and vendor performance at the regional and property leve, • Serve as a key marketing partner to Operations, Commercial Strategy, Brand, and property leadership., • Support ownership communication regarding marketing strategy, performance, and positioning., • Ensure marketing efforts are fully integrated with operational, commercial, and guest experience initiatives. Requested Capabilities • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in hospitality, lifestyle brands, hotels, restaurants, or experiential-driven industries., • Prior experience leading multi-property or regional marketing teams required., • Demonstrated success managing and developing leaders (Area/Regional Marketing Managers)., • Strong understanding of local market marketing, demand generation, and brand positioning., • Experience in independent and lifestyle hospitality strongly preferred., • Strong financial acumen and performance-measurement capability (ROI, campaign analytics, revenue impact)., • Experience supporting openings, transitions, and repositionings preferred, • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills., • Ability to travel regularly across portfolio markets., • Proficient in Microsoft Suite As part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
