This position provides support and oversight for resident’s self-administration of medication while in the residential treatment facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Conduct admission assessments of residents: health history, vital signs, signs/symptoms of withdrawal from substances, signs/symptoms of mental health disorders, risk assessment, and need for urgent or emergent care., 2. Responsible for receipt and inventory of medication, creating and updating documentation necessary for the storage of an oversight in utilization of medications at the program., 3. Complete consent forms and referrals as necessary to meet the physical health, mental health, and substance abuse treatment needs of residents., 4. Connect residents with health care provider(s) for completion of admission required physical examination and TB clearance, as well as ongoing care as needed to meet the individual needs of residents., 5. Verify resident’s medical insurance information (Medi-Cal and other third-party payors) and coordination efforts with pharmacy., 6.
