Job Description Job Title: Maitre’d Job Description: A high-volume restaurant group located in Midtown is seeking an experienced and polished Maitre’d to oversee guest service and dining experience. Restaurant experience is a MUST for this role. Duties and Responsibilities (not all-inclusive): • Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality., • Oversee the flow of the dining room, managing reservations and seating arrangements., • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service., • Handle guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a professional manner., • Maintain an updated knowledge of the menu, wine list, and specials., • Assist with training and supervising the front-of-house staff., • Manage VIP guests and special events to ensure an exceptional experience. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Maitre’d or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant., • Exceptional communication and leadership skills., • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and restaurant operations., • Ability to manage a busy dining room and multitask effectively., • High level of professionalism and attention to detail., • Restaurant industry experience is required.
