Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in electrical work across commercial, SCA and NYC Transit environments. Hourly Pay Range: Prevailing Wage Job Responsibilities: Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in compliance with NEC and industry standards. Work on projects for SCA and NYC Transit, including school facilities and MTA environments. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions safely and efficiently. Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Ensure all work meets safety requirements and complies with OSHA, MTA, and site‐specific rules. Collaborate with project teams, foremen, and other electricians to complete project tasks. Maintain accurate documentation, daily work reports, and material logs. Participate in fieldwork including track‐level assignments when required. Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of electrical field experience (Mechanic or Journeyman preferred). OSHA 30 certification. SST (Site Safety Training) certification. Mandatory Drug Tests (as required) Clean driver’s license (CDL preferred). Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices. Ability to work independently and in team environments. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
