Key Responsibilities • Represent employers in labor and employment litigation matters., • Defend clients in wage and hour disputes, employment claims, and workplace-related litigation., • Provide day-to-day counseling on employment law compliance and workplace best practices., • Draft, review, and revise employment agreements, workplace policies, and legal documents., • Advise employers regarding employee discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters., • Assist clients with labor relations and traditional labor law issues involving unions and collective bargaining matters., • Negotiate settlements and labor agreements on behalf of employers., • Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda., • Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings., • Develop legal strategies that align with client business objectives and risk management goals. Qualifications • 3–6 years of litigation experience., • Labor and employment law experience preferred., • Licensed to practice law in Utah., • Strong litigation and advocacy skills., • Experience drafting legal documents and managing complex matters., • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing abilities., • Strong verbal communication and client counseling skills., • Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines effectively., • Sound judgment and strong problem-solving capabilities., • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
