Job Description Foster Garvey PC seeks a full-time Attorney Recruiting Specialist to join its attorney recruiting team. This team is responsible for recruiting and hiring attorneys, summer associates, and law clerks for all six office locations, including Seattle, Spokane, Portland, New York, Tulsa, and Washington, D.C. Position Summary: This role serves as the primary point of contact for law student recruiting, lateral attorney hiring, and the Summer Associate Program, overseeing job postings, resume reviews, hiring metrics, and applicant tracking. It involves coordinating and managing interviews for lateral hires, facilitating On-Campus Interviews (OCIs), gathering interview feedback, and ensuring website updates. Additionally, the role coordinates the firm-wide Summer Program, organizing orientation and networking events while fostering relationships with candidates and law schools. This position also develops marketing strategies for recruitment and manages special projects aligned with departmental goals. This position requires a very detail-oriented and committed individual to support the Firm’s attorney recruiting team in its efforts to continue hiring excellent attorneys to join Foster Garvey. Some overtime work, specifically evenings and weekends, may be required from May through October. After the first 90 days, which require 5 days a week in the office, the employee is eligible to work in a hybrid environment and must be in the office at least four days a week. Responsibilities: • Assist with administration of full-cycle attorney recruiting., • Coordinate interview logistics, prepare candidate materials, and manage scheduling across multiple calendars., • Assist in planning, organizing, and staffing recruiting events and special projects to ensure seamless execution., • Maintain clear communication with candidates and internal teams to facilitate an efficient and professional hiring experience., • Maintain and update candidate data in Applicant Tracking System and other software platforms., • Coordinate and support the Summer Associate program, including event planning, workflow process, administrative tasks, and budgeting., • Build and maintain relationships with law schools, recruiting contacts, and regional offices to strengthen engagement., • Monitor recruiting metrics, oversee data management, and contribute to reports, presentations, and marketing initiatives. Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university., • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience., • The successful applicant will also have strategic and analytical thinking, excellent organizational skills, superior written and oral communication skills., • Ability to take initiative and contribute new ideas; the ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm management and staff., • Capability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure; the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities., • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally., • Prior event planning experience preferred., • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, Document Management Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as the ability to implement new software programs. Salary Range: The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 annually; however, actual pay may vary depending on the candidate's education, training, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
