Are you experienced in tutoring students in the following courses: AP PreCalc, AP Calc AB/BC, AP Statistics or IB Program We are looking to hire AP Instructors/Tutors who will be responsible with conducting 1:1 or group tutoring sessions with our students who are preparing for the AP Exams. Our instructor must be able to teach students test-taking strategies and time management skills to maximize students’ performances on the AP Exam. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educators to make a positive impact on students' learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in related field in tutoring (required), • Master's degree in related field in tutoring from an accredited college or university (preferred), • 1 year experience teaching AP courses as a tutor/teacher (required), • Successful track record of developing student’s knowledge in AP Test Prep (required), • Professional communication skills (both spoken and written), • Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), • Able to work independently and collaborate with a team, • Enthusiastic about working with students and parents, • Able to maintain strict confidentiality, • Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative), • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines, • Good judgment and decision-making abilities, • Good problem-solving skills, • Good planning skills, • Highly responsive, • Highly proactive, • Highly reliable, • IntegrityJOB DUTIES:, • Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed, • Deliver interactive and engaging AP lessons, • Provide guidance and instruction on the content and format of the AP., • Administer practice tests and analyze results to identify areas of improvement, • Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their educational development., • Provide homework help as needed, • Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students, • Good classroom management skillsTypical hours:, • Must be flexible Monday - Friday from 2pm-8pm, Saturdays from 10am-4pmThis Job Is:, • A job for which all ages, including older job seekers, are encouraged to apply
