Job Description These are relief/per diem, part-time positions. Hours can include a combination of days, evenings, overnights and weekends. OVERVIEW: The Relief Emergency Shelter Counselor is responsible for supporting and managing a caring 24.7 youth shelter environment including: supervision of residents, one-to-one counseling, teaching independent living skills, preparing meals with residents, facilitating recreational outings, and general upkeep of the house itself. Key Responsibilities: • Tenant and Vendor Communication: Assist with handling phone calls and emails from tenants, vendors, and service providers, providing top-tier customer service and addressing inquiries., • Document Management: Draft, format, and distribute tenant notices, lease abstracts, service agreements, and other property-related documents., • Maintenance Coordination: Follow up on work orders and coordinate with maintenance teams for efficient service delivery., • File Management: Maintain both electronic and physical files for leases, contracts, and other important property documents., • Administrative Support: Assist other administrative staff as needed with office tasks such as filing, organizing, and general support.
