Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our team! We need a forward-thinking and results driven l Human Resources Generalist - (Bilingual Preferred) that is proficient in hiring, developing and motivating employees. Well-versed in explaining benefits packages to assist employee comprehension and decision making. Builds rapport with employees and supervisors to resolve issues quickly. Change agent with history of driving continuous performance improvements. Responsibilities: • Update and maintain the training process by reviewing existing documentation, leveraging feedback from associates, and working with all departments to ensure available information accuracy and usability., • Provide guidance on policies and procedures to harmonize responses, • Provide appropriate investigation actions and reach resolution of grievances with guidance and direction from the HR Manager., • Direct onboarding and training for employees, • Work with department heads to identify current and prospective staffing requirements., • Partner with HR Manager to develop staffing strategies and work through the preparation of job descriptions, posting of jobs and the sourcing, interviewing, selection, hiring and onboarding process, • Oversee pre-employment screenings, • Develop relationships with temporary staffing/labor agencies and search firms to ensure access to high quality candidates, • Complete all new hire paperwork including E-Verify, creating new employee files., • Coordinate temp workforce with management including temp payroll reports, • Review and audit temp billings, insurance billings and any other billings related to HR., • Ensure new hire/termed information is accurate in HRIS systems, • Distribute handbook changes/updates as necessary, • Assist employees in the administration of benefit plans including FMLA, STD, Insurance, 401k, Workers' Compensation, and Paid time off., • Respond to Texas Workforce Commission unemployment claims, • Participate in all audits (401k, Customer, OSHA, Workers' Comp, etc.), • Participate in Safety Committee, • Maintain HR employee files, EEOC and I-9 files, • Employee verifications (unemployment, employment, state aid, & housing), • Keep current and ensure compliance on all Federal and State laws such as FMLA, ADA, labor laws, etc., • Ensure all employment child support and garnishment payments are entered correctly in the payroll system., • Coordinate/assist with company events, • Four-year college degree in human resources, business, or related major, • Fluent in English and Spanish, • Experience with working in a fast-paced environment with strong organization skills, • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide overall employee satisfaction, • Must be detail oriented, • Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, effectively with co-workers, • Ability to respond to employee requests with high level of patience, diplomacy, and tact, • Ability to operate computers to include MS Office Suite software, • Ability to independently, • Knowledge of Federal and State laws such as FMLA, ADA, labor laws, etc., • Experience in HRIS systems About us: Baumann Springs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
