Who you are The People Operations Coordinator focuses on managing employee data, supporting new hire onboarding and new hire orientation, handling various HR inquiries, and assisting with reporting. What you'll do • Manage and respond to inquiries from employees and managers across multiple HR and payroll inboxes, • Accurately enter and maintain employee information in HRIS systems, including AS400 and Dayforce, for transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations, • Facilitate the new hire process from ICIMS to the AS400, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding data, • Review and verify employee change documents to ensure completeness and proper authorization, • Sort incoming mail and process payroll-related documents, including garnishments and requests, for upload to ADP, • Actively participate in cross-training initiatives across various People Operations functions to develop a broad understanding of the department, • Assist with the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly HR and payroll reports, • Take ownership of and contribute to special projects as assigned, gaining exposure to various People Operations initiatives, • Assist in the organization and set-up of New Metropolite Orientation (NMO), our onboarding program, including coordinating the IT setupWhat we're looking for, • Ability to work in-office 4 days a week (Santa Monica), • 1+ years of professional experience within a corporate setting, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; as well as familiarity with Google Workspace, • Basic understanding of HR/People data management, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience.
