Explore careers at For details on our hiring policies and privacy practices, visit our Privacy Policy Responsibilities The Temporary Mailroom / Package Room Clerk, under the supervision of the Mailroom Supervisor, is responsible for maintaining the package room in a neat and orderly manner. The Clerk is to coordinate the acceptance and distribution of packages to the residents and different departments of Manhattan Plaza. Compensation: • $20.00 - 21.00 / hour, • This position is non-exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position. Daily responsibilities of the Temporary Mailroom / Package Room Clerk include: • Receiving and distributing packages from United Parcel Service and the United States Postal Service on a daily basis to residents and operations and management, • Scanning into property software, sorting and shelving the packages, • Maintaining the package room clean and organized on a daily basis, • Providing the supervisor with weekly tally of daily tasks assigned, • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills Qualifications • Must be available to work the following schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Occasional Saturdays may be required, with a weekday off in compensation. Closed on Sundays., • Prior residential package room experience preferred, • Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision, • Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed, • Understanding of computers/technology, • Customer service skills, • Must able to lift 50LBS and stand for 8 hours, • Alternating weekend scheduling of assigned work will be determined at the discretion of the supervisor, • The schedule may be changed by supervisor based on job need, • Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in all interactions.
