    Proven Solutions is a licensed and insured general contracting and remodeling company based in NYC. We are hiring reliable Construction Helpers for flexible gig work on residential and commercial projects across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Nassau. You choose your hours. This is gig based work, so you decide how much you want to work each week based on your availability. Take 10, 20, 30, or up to 40 hours a week depending on the gigs and days that fit your schedule. You also update your availability week to week. You can make it part time or full time, whatever works best for you. What you'll do: Help our crew with general labor on active job sites. This includes demolition, hauling and loading materials, site cleanup, and prepping areas for tile, drywall, paint, flooring, and carpentry. You'll assist installers and the foreman, move and stage materials, and keep the work area safe and organized. This is a position for everyone. If you show up, work hard, and learn a trade, you can move up to become an assistant for a specific trade (tile, drywall, paint, flooring, carpentry) and earn more. This role covers a variety of property types including Airbnb/short-term rentals, residential homes, commercial spaces, and post-construction sites. Requirements • NYS licensed electrician Qualifications/Skills: • Experience installing and repairing wiring and conductive elements and electrical components in buildings., • Experience testing and inspecting electrical work like wiring and lighting to ensure safe installation and compliance with regulatory codes., • Experience identifying and mitigating safety hazards, code violations and other electrical issues., • Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly instructions., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and presentation abilities., • Patience and adaptability when working with varying skill levels., • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to electrical work and industrial environments., • Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation., • Experienced in leading hands-on technical trainings in classroom and field settings., • Experienced in use of MS Word, MS Excel and Google Docs/Sheets and PowerPoint. Experience using Canva a plus., • Organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent training programs.
