Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician (90k a year) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers, ensuring maximized uptime, precision, and reliability. This role requires expertise in diagnosing various control systems and performing detailed maintenance tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers., • Diagnose issues with servo motors, spindle drives, encoders, feedback loops, and axis faults., • Interpret ladder logic and electrical schematics for fault isolation., • Troubleshoot 24VDC control circuits and 480V 3-phase power systems., • Test VFDs, control transformers, relays, safety circuits, and I/O modules., • Work with Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC controls., • Calibrate sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, and interlocks., • Maintain lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic, and coolant systems., • Perform spindle alignment checks and replace electrical components as needed., • Assist in machine installations, retrofits, and relocations., • Document all work in the CMMS system., • Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mitsubishi, and Okuma control systems., • Proficiency in CNC Lathe Programming and Live Tooling., • Ability to work with Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC controls., • Skilled in troubleshooting servo systems and machine controls., • Experience in high-mix manufacturing environments., • Familiarity with ESPIRIT software. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Maintain lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic, and coolant systems Perform spindle alignment checks and electrical component replacements Assist in machine installs, retrofits, and relocations Document work in CMMS Support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) Experience with servo systems and machine controls Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Hawthorne,CA.
