Position Overview As an Exercise Physiologist at Vida, you will operate within our Performance Lab, delivering advanced physiologic testing and translating complex data into actionable, personalized exercise prescriptions. You’ll collaborate closely with Functional Medicine providers and an integrated care team to support a motivated concierge patient population focused on longevity, performance, and sustainable health. You will also provide ongoing coaching, follow-up, and accountability, helping patients successfully implement and adapt their exercise programs over time. Why Choose Vida Integrated Health? What You'll Do: Performance Testing & Assessment: Conduct and interpret advanced assessments, including: • VO₂max testing, • Lactate threshold testing, • Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR), • DEXA scans (body composition & bone density), • Strength testing, posture analysis, and movement assessments, • Spirometry-based pulmonary function testing Personalized Exercise Prescription: Create individualized, goal-driven exercise programs based on: • Objective testing data, • Physician recommendations, • Patient goals, preferences, and medical considerations, • Adjust and evolve programs as patients progress Concierge Coaching & Follow-Up • Provide high-touch coaching, motivation, and accountability, • Monitor progress and modify programs to ensure success, • Support patients in building sustainable habits and confidence, • Help connect patients with:, • external personal trainers and group class instructors, • Approved digital platforms and exercise apps Collaborative, Integrated Care • Work closely with Functional Medicine providers, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and other clinicians, • Contribute to integrated treatment planning and patient case discussions, • Clearly communicate results and recommendations to both patients and providers Lab Operations & Documentation • Operate and oversee the Performance Lab, • Maintain equipment calibration, cleanliness, and organization, • Accurately document all testing, sessions, and patient interactions in the EMR, • Follow internal protocols and safety standards What We're Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Cardiac Rehabilitation, or related field (required); Minimum 2 years’ experience managing an independent participant caseload in cardiovascular risk reduction, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, or related field, • Master’s degree preferred; Minimum 1 year experience managing an independent participant caseload in a related field, • Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP), • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification, • Familiarity with VO₂max testing, metabolic carts, and/or DEXA scanning (training provided), • Strong understanding of biomechanics, exercise prescription, and injury prevention, • Comfortable working with data, technology, and EMR systems, • Patient-first, concierge-level customer service mindset, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-minded, • Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, • Motivated, compassionate, and excited to help build a new program., • U.S. Work Authorization Why You’ll Love Working at Vida: • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and more, • 401(k) with employer match, • Generous & flexible Paid Time Off, • Paid Holidays, • $2,000 annual internal wellness credit, • Continuing Education support, • Product & supplement discounts, • Culture & Growth, • Supportive, collaborative, growth-oriented team, • Ongoing mentorship and professional development, • Opportunity to help shape and grow a cutting-edge program, • Work in an environment that values excellence, curiosity, and whole-person care Ready to Make an Impact? Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 9:30 AM-6:30 PM Compensation: $32 - $40 hourly Responsibilities: • Operate and oversee the Performance Lab within our new Center for Precision & Personalized Lifestyle Medicine, including VO₂ max testing, RMR, DEXA scans, metabolic testing, and pulmonary testing., • Deliver individualized exercise programs for concierge patients, • Perform fitness and performance assessments and monitor patient progress over time, • Interpret testing data and communicate results clearly to patients and internal providers, • Document all testing, sessions, and patient interactions accurately in the EMR, following internal protocols, • Maintain proper care, calibration, and cleanliness of Performance Lab equipment and space, • Ensure a high level of patient safety, professionalism, and customer serviceQualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Cardiac Rehabilitation, or related field (required)., • With a Bachelor’s Degree: minimum of two (2) years of experience handling own participant caseload in cardiovascular risk reduction and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation or related field, • With a Master’s Degree: minimum of one (1) year of experience handling one's own participant caseload in cardiovascular risk reduction and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation or related field, • Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) certification, • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification, • US Work AuthorizationAbout Company We are a premier provider of integrated health care serving the greater Seattle area.
