About the Role Working closely with the Practice Manager, the Customer Care Associate supports daily front-desk operations and serves as the primary point of contact for patients. This role combines customer service, care coordination, and administrative support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities • Greet and check in patients, • Verify insurance benefits and collect co-pays/coinsurance, • Manage phone calls, patient portal messages, and business SMS, • Support care coordination, including referrals, records requests, and community resources, • Assist with clinician scheduling, • Maintain office supply inventory, • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, • Customer service and/or front-desk administrative experience required, • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Office 365), • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks, • Mon: 8:30am–5:00pm, • Tues (alternating): 7:45am–4:15pm or 10:45am–7:15pm, • Wed: 7:45am–4:15pm, • Thurs: 8:45am–5:15pm, • A friendly, professional communicator, • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, • Willingness to learn new systems, including EMR, • $20–$23/hour, based on experience, • Growth opportunities with a mission-driven organization
