Job Description Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a temp Tax Administrative Assistant to join their Bohemia, NY office. Responsibilities • Process and manage client tax documentation using ProSystem FX and CCH platforms, • Prepare accurate tax return packages for individuals and entities, ensuring timely filing with tax authorities, • Coordinate electronic filing processes, including collecting consent forms and releasing returns, • Support the preparation and filing of 1099s, W-2s, payroll, sales tax, and Form 990 extensions, • Manage tax engagement letters, EIN applications, power of attorney forms, and responses to tax notices, • Maintain project tracking and deadlines through CCH Axcess Workflow, generating reports to keep teams aligned, • Serve as a client contact, assisting with filing instructions, gathering documentation, and providing ongoing support, • Track client data in CCH Practice Management and HubSpot, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, • Provide administrative support, including time entry, supply management, document processing, and entity formation assistance, • Previous tax administrative experience, • Accounting industry background preferred, • Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, • Able to meet deadlines and multitask, • Excellent communication skills
