Job Description Project Manager Company Summary: We are a security company that specializes in installing and servicing Surveillance Cameras/CCTV, Access Control, Gate Access, Intrusion Alarms and Fire Alarms for commercial properties and new construction. We are looking for candidates with Low Voltage/Security Project Management experience, a positive attitude and someone looking for a career not just a job. Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful execution of low voltage security system projects—including surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, fire alarm and related infrastructure. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to company quality standards while maintaining strong client communication and leadership of field teams. This can be a work from home position for the right candidate. Major Duties and Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination • Identify potential risks, conflicts or delays and develop a proactive solution, • Review project goals , requirements and execution strategy with installation team to ensure project stays on schedule, project is installed per design/estimate, and financial goals are met, • Work with admin team on project scheduling and ordering materials to ensure resources are in place as needed, and minimizing extraneous costs which reduce Gotcha’s profit Execution and Oversight • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through closeout, • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues, • Monitor project progress, ensure project is progressing according to scope and quality standards, determine if any adjustments need to be executed to ensure project is completed on time and in budget, resource scheduling is modified as necessary, and client expectations are met, • Ensure adherence to safety protocols Client and Stakeholder Communication • Serve as the primary contact for the client, • Communicate with client on project scheduling to ensure they are ready for the install, and have a reasonable expectation of the timeline Financial & Documentation Management • Track budgets, labor hours, change orders, and invoicing to ensure profitability, • Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages, • Close out project ensuring all standards have been met to ensure all installation tasks have completed per the estimate and SOPs, quality standards have been met, client expectations have been met and provide financial overview, • Develop and implement processes that strengthen project management and execution Team Leadership • Provide direction and mentorship to technicians, leads, and subcontractors, • Support hiring and training initiatives to build a strong project execution team, • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement Requirements WHAT SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE DO YOU NEED? • Experience with security products such as CCTV, Access Control, Vehicle Gates, Burglar Alarms, and/or Fire Alarms, • Product knowledge- Has a basic understanding of how products work, how they should be installed, how local codes affect application and/or installation, • Understanding sense of urgency – Displays a matter of utmost urgency, understands the importance of making critical business decisions in a timely manner with strong attention to detail, • Prioritize tasks – Evaluate tasks based on resources, client needs, • Planning/Organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; develops realistic action plans, • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions, • Written and oral communication – Edits work for spelling and grammar, writes clearly and informative, demonstrates group presentation skills, listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions, • Documentation – Updates project with notes and requirements, client communications, change orders, project status, ensures team members can track project, • Availability – Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines and project requirement Working Conditions • Outside in heat/cold, • Ladders, • Construction sites, • PPE as required by customer, • Office Environment Physical Requirements • Ascends/descends ladders, scaffolds, stairs, • Walk on project sites for 2-3 hours, • Sit at a computer Required Licenses • Georgia driver’s license and ability to drive a pickup truck or van.
