Job Summary We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy dermatology practice, primarily working in medical and surgical dermatology. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced outpatient or hospital setting and is comfortable working with advanced technology, including AI-driven patient information systems. Experience assisting with surgical procedures is highly preferred. Essential Responsibilities · Provide direct patient care and assistance in medical dermatology surgery settings. · Assist providers with in-office surgical procedures. · Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments. · Accurately document patient information using EMR systems and AI-supported technology platforms. · Educate patients on pre and post-procedure care. · Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort. · Maintain exam rooms and ensure compliance with infection control standards. · Support clinic efficiency in a busy outpatient environment. Requirements: • Current and active LPN license., • 2+ years of experience in dermatology or busy outpatient/hospital practice preferred., • Experience assisting in surgical procedures required., • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and AI-based documentation tools., • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting., • Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills., • CPR/BLS certification required., • Prolonged periods of being on your feet during scheduled shifts., • Continuous face-to-face interaction and verbal communication with patients., • Frequent movement within the office including climbing stairs.
