Job Description Position: Project Manager Reports to: VP, Project Management Department: PMO & Integration Location: 475 Springfield Ave, Summit, NJ (in-office strongly preferred) Classification: Full-time / Exempt Summary / Job Objective: The primary objective of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects within deadlines and budget, ensuring all project goals are met. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants, and defining the project's objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle. Primary Responsibilities: · Plan, execute and successfully complete complex projects and initiatives across multiple business units. · Develop project plans to implement integration strategies. · Develop roadmaps with defined milestones, scope and success metrics. · Lead cross-functional planning sessions across workstreams. · Serve as a bridge builder/ key liaison between various business units, partner subsidiaries and executive leadership. · Drive organizational change and the change management process, including assessment of cultural fit, changing communications and training/ support to minimize organizational disruption. · Assist team members to identify, assess and mitigate project risk. · Assist team members to identify, assess and manage complexity and project dependencies. · Provide clear, transparent and expediate status reports and communications; highlight key risks, decisions. needed, and benefit realization updates. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering) or equivalent experience. · 3- 5 years minimum, proven experience as a Project Manager. · PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is strongly preferred. · Experience in managing projects involving company integrations (e.g., system or organizational integrations) is highly desirable. · Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred. · Proficiency with project management software. · Experience with budget management and oversight Core Competencies: · Ability to be successful in ever-changing environments · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Detail-oriented · Driven by both a team environment as well as working independently Compensation & Benefits: Compensation (based on experience) · Annual Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 / Exempt · Annual Performance Bonus Target: 10% Benefits · Employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, other) · 401k with employer match · Paid Time Off · Paid parking Location: 475 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ or one of the nation-wide Simplicity Offices Company DescriptionHeadquartered in Summit, New Jersey, Simplicity Financial Marketing Group Holdings (“Simplicity Group”) is a financial holding company in the independent financial services sector that specializes in the distribution of retirement and financial planning solutions.
