Position Summary: The Director of Business Analytics is a senior leader responsible for the strategy, execution, and governance of the analytics function supporting credit risk, servicing, and default management across the organization's Retail, Lease, and Commercial lines of business. This role leads a multi-disciplinary team to deliver actionable intelligence that shapes credit policy, informs executive decision-making, and ensures sound risk management practices. The Director collaborates cross-functionally with leaders across various departments to align the analytics agenda with enterprise objectives, regulatory requirements, and market conditions. The role also manages the analytics roadmap, vendor evaluation strategy, and the department's operating budget, serving as the organization's primary subject matter expert in business and risk analytics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Define, communicate, and execute the multi-year Business Analytics strategy, roadmap, and capacity plan in alignment with the CRO's priorities and enterprise risk appetite., • Oversee analytics supporting credit policy development, including rules, conditions, stipulations, automation strategies, and post-implementation monitoring, across Retail, Lease, and Commercial channels., • Directs the development, validation, performance monitoring, and documentation of scoring algorithms and operational models (e.g., CDR, Fault Points, DSM, Servicing Behavior Score, Default Priority Score, Estimated Repo Sale Percentage)., • Lead market intelligence and benchmarking efforts leveraging tools such as Experian ADS, peer comparisons, vintage analysis, delinquency/loss trends, and competitive positioning briefings., • Direct end-to-end evaluation, integration, and ongoing management of third-party data products and analytical vendors (e.g., Sentilink, Neustar, LexisNexis, Point Predictive)., • Oversee fair lending analytics including disparate impact testing, ECOA compliance monitoring, and UDAAP risk assessments, ensuring all outputs comply with federal and state regulations., • Ensure robust account segmentation, vintage performance tracking, and KPI variance analysis across servicing and default portfolios, including Collections, Repossession, Remarketing, Recovery, and Bankruptcy/Legal operations., • Provide direct oversight of Commercial Floor Planning analytics, including dealer performance monitoring, risk assessment, and portfolio management support., • Drive adoption of advanced analytics capabilities, including machine learning, AI-assisted decisioning, and reporting automation, partnering with IT and Data Engineering on data infrastructure and platform needs., • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Associate Directors, Senior Analysts, and Analysts; set priorities, manage workloads, conduct performance evaluations, and build a succession pipeline., • Develop and manage the departmental operating budget, including staffing, technology, vendor contracts, and training; forecast resource needs and report on budget performance. Bachelor's degree in: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance, or another quantitative field required. Overtime required – N/A Travel 0-10% – as required on an as needed basis. * Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX. Qualifications Preferred: • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred., • Experience in a captive auto finance or OEM-affiliated financial services organization., • Familiarity with lease analytics, residual value analysis, or commercial floor plan lending., • Knowledge of CFPB, OCC, and state-level regulatory frameworks applicable to auto lending.
