Job DescriptionMaintenance Supervisor Pay: $23–$27/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM On-Call Rotation Required Lead a Maintenance Team and Make an Immediate Impact We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of a residential property. This role is ideal for a maintenance professional with leadership experience who enjoys solving problems, managing priorities, and ensuring residents receive exceptional service. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee preventative maintenance programs, coordinate apartment turnovers, manage service requests, maintain property assets, and lead a maintenance team to ensure the property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate all maintenance operations for the property., • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for building systems and equipment., • Prioritize, assign, and monitor maintenance service requests to ensure timely completion., • Oversee apartment turnovers and ensure vacant units are move-in ready on schedule., • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, parts, and maintenance supplies., • Coordinate purchasing activities while maintaining budget compliance., • Prepare work schedules and assist with staffing plans., • Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance personnel., • Conduct routine property inspections and identify opportunities for improvement., • Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintenance standards., • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address after-hours maintenance needs.Preferred Qualifications, • Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building maintenance., • Supervisory or team leadership experience., • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems., • Experience with apartment turnovers and preventative maintenance programs., • Strong carpentry, repair, painting, and finishing skills., • Experience troubleshooting and repairing major appliances., • Ability to perform general plumbing and electrical repairs., • Experience with landscaping, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and exterior property upkeep., • Pool maintenance experience is a plus., • Ability to install and rekey locks., • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Why Join Us?, • $23–$27/hour based on experience., • Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term stability., • All tools provided., • Company-provided uniforms., • Minimum one week of PTO upon permanent hire., • 401(k) eligibility after one year., • Leadership opportunity with autonomy and growth potential., • Supportive work environment with established maintenance operations.Work Environment This position is based at a residential property where you'll serve as the lead maintenance professional. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
