Job DescriptionPrimary Job Title: Project Controls AnalystAlternate/Related Job Titles: Project Controls Analyst Associate Project Cost Analyst Project Scheduling Analyst Project Financial Analyst Construction Project Controls AnalystLocation: Fresno, CA, United StatesOnsite Flexibility: Hybrid (2–4 days per month onsite or field site visits)Contract Details (Contract roles only): • Position Type: Contract, • Contract Duration: 9 months, • Start: As Soon As Possible, • Develop and maintain project cost plans and forecasts to determine if project objectives are achievable., • Create and update monthly budget forecasts and maintain cost reporting accuracy., • Prepare cost and schedule status reports and analyze project performance against objectives., • Identify cost or schedule variances and recommend corrective actions., • Support responses to project budget, GRC, or FERC cost inquiries with accurate project data., • Communicate project cost, schedule, and risk status to project teams and stakeholders., • Interface with design and planning resources and associated software systems., • Assist in preparation of advance authorizations, job estimates, and re-authorizations., • Process journal entries and coordinate goods receipts within enterprise systems., • Maintain logs for scope changes, contingency releases, change orders, and journal entries., • Manage project documentation and maintain records within electronic document management systems., • Track project milestones and report progress or deviations from schedule., • Maintain order tracking and documentation throughout the project lifecycle., • Support project closeout activities and ensure all compliance documentation is completed., • Provide Project Managers with monthly cost and schedule variance analysis reports., • Generate weekly and monthly project performance reports for management stakeholders., • Validate and analyze weekly and monthly data sets for reporting accuracy., • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests., • Participate in process improvement initiatives within project management operations., • Monitor and report on forecasting performance using enterprise financial tracking tools., • Analyze financial results and identify major cost drivers affecting project outcomes., • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling systems., • Participate in project kickoff meetings and collect progress data to update project schedules.Required Experience:, • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, finance, construction management, or project management., • At least 1 year of experience in electric or gas transmission and distribution operations, business planning, finance, accounting, or project management., • Experience supporting project cost tracking, financial reporting, or scheduling functions., • Experience working with project documentation and reporting processes.Nice-to-Have Experience:, • Experience with Primavera P6 project scheduling software., • Experience with SAP Work Management, SAP BW, or enterprise financial systems., • Experience with project management tools such as Unifier, ProjectWise, or HeavyBid., • Experience supporting utility or energy infrastructure projects., • Experience with earned value analysis, forecasting, or financial performance analysis., • CAPM or PMP certification.Required Skills:, • Project scheduling and schedule validation (Primavera P6), • Advanced Excel data analysis and reporting, • Project cost tracking and forecastingPreferred Skills:, • SAP project and financial systems, • Financial forecasting and budget analysis, • Project documentation management, • Data validation and reporting analysis, • Stakeholder communication and coordinationAdditional Skills:, • Project cost performance analysis, • Schedule milestone monitoring and reporting, • Risk identification and mitigation support, • Change order and contingency tracking, • Electronic document management systems (EDMS), • Project status reporting and dashboard development, • Budget cycle forecasting and financial monitoring, • Earned value management concepts, • Utility operations policies and compliance standards, • SPSI reporting and operational performance trackingBenefits:, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans #LI-GTT #LI-Hybrid #gttjobsCompany DescriptionGlobal Technical Talent is a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation () with over 1.3 billion US$ in revenue and 5800 US employees.
