Job DescriptionChief Operating Officer (COO), ad-tech, NY The COO will serve as a key member of our executive team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing functions. This role requires a unique blend of technical acumen in ad technology, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership • Lead and optimize Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing operations to achieve aggressive growth targets, • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives, • Establish and maintain operational frameworks, processes, and metrics across revenue-generating functions, • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment between technical and commercial teamsSales & Revenue Operations, • Oversee sales strategy, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting, • Implement scalable sales processes and systems to support rapid growth, • Optimize sales team structure, compensation plans, and performance management, • Drive strategic partnerships and channel development initiativesCustomer Success & Retention, • Build and scale customer success programs to maximize retention and expansion, • Develop customer health scoring and risk management frameworks, • Oversee post-sale customer journey optimization and value realization programs, • Establish customer feedback loops and product development alignmentMarketing & Growth, • Lead demand generation, brand positioning, and marketing strategy, • Oversee digital marketing campaigns and performance optimization, • Drive product marketing initiatives and competitive positioning, • Manage marketing technology stack and attribution modelingStrategic Planning & Execution, • Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and business development, • Lead operational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes, • Drive data-driven decision making through analytics and performance monitoring, • Identify and execute strategic initiatives for market expansion and operational efficiencyRequired QualificationsExperience & Leadership, • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology companies, • 5+ years in C-level or VP-level roles overseeing multiple operational functions, • Proven track record of scaling organizations from startup to growth stage, • Experience managing teams of 50+ across multiple disciplinesTechnical Background, • Computer Science degree or equivalent technical background, • Deep understanding of ad technology ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, programmatic advertising), • Experience with marketing technology, CRM systems, and revenue operations tools, • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision makingFunctional Expertise, • Demonstrated success in building and scaling Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing functions, • Experience with B2B SaaS business models and recurring revenue metrics, • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and retention strategies, • Proven ability to optimize conversion funnels and revenue operationsLeadership & Communication, • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environmentsPreferred Qualifications, • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field, • Experience in programmatic advertising, ad serving, or marketing automation platforms, • Background in venture capital or private equity-backed companies, • International business development experience, • Previous experience as COO, CRO, or CMO in ad tech or related industryWhat We Offer, • Competitive base salary and equity package, • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, • Flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities, • Opportunity to shape the future of a high-growth technology company Pixalate offers the market-leading fraud protection, privacy, and compliance analytics platform for Connected TV (CTV), Mobile Apps, and Websites.
