Position Overview/Job Summary: The Project Manager, ERP & IT Systems is a strategic, techno-functional role responsible for optimizing, integrating, and governing the organization’s ERP ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on IFS cloud ERP and enterprise-wide business systems. The ideal candidate has proven experience architecting and governing IFS Cloud in complex, multi-entity organizations and brings both strategic architectural thinking and hands-on functional depth. This candidate will lead the end-to-end ERP architecture across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, and Operations ensuring ERP solutions are aligned with business objectives, support scalable growth, and deliver reliable, accurate data. The role leads ERP configuration, integrations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and warehouse operations. This individual acts as a subject matter expert for IFS and is accountable for defining scalable design standards, governing system configuration, ensuring strong financial integrity, costing accuracy, data governance, and operational efficiency across the enterprise. He/she is responsible for information technology infrastructure and shared services, including all physical and virtual servers, security, storage and backup infrastructure, server, local area and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), and all telecommunications equipment. This position is responsible for IT infrastructure to ensure it runs efficiently, securely and aligns with business goals overall systems management to include managing hardware and software to handling security, performance, and user requests, ultimately ensuring business productivity and stability. This position will ensure effective utilization of IT Infrastructure and applications to enhance system performance and limit downtime. Essential Job Functions: • Act as the primary point of contact for all IFS ERP or IT infrastructure related activities and initiatives, • Manager and coordinate solution architects and software developers on implementation and upgrade projects surrounding IFS Cloud modules, supporting both financial and operational modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Projects, etc)., • Primary ERP owner in gathering, analyze, and translate business user requirements into actionable project plans, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate business requirements into functional and technical ERP solutions through requirements communication, management of IFS partners or consultant for delivery of solutions, • Partner with IT infrastructure lead and find external vendors to ensure system scalability, security, and performance, • Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met internally and through consultants or partners., • Design, develop, configure, maintain and support system integrations, APIs, and data workflows between IFS ERP and other enterprise applications. Support systems include Boomi-based EDI integrations and transaction flows, Warehouse mobility solutions (WADACO configuration and/or Novacura Flow replacement initiatives), and IFS–BarTender production label integration and automation, • Primary owner for ERP related projects, diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize system performance,, • Handle customizations and requests related to report designing, business reporter, processes, CRIMS, PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions, and troubleshooting data issues., • Lead and support ERP enhancements, upgrades, architectural governance, patches, testing, and deployments with minimal disruption to operations., • Develop and maintain operational, financial, and management reports, customizations, migrations using IFS, • Ensure robust posting controls, intercompany structures, inventory valuation, and manufacturing costing models for proper financial reporting, • Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for ERP-related issues. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements., • Lead master data governance efforts to ensure data integrity, standardization, and compliance., • Manage roles, permissions, access audits, and security best practices., • Develop and maintain operational, financial, and management reports using IFS Business Reporter, Report Designer, and BI tools., • Utilize SQL and data analysis techniques to validate data accuracy and provide actionable insights., • Monitor system interfaces and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and IT teams., • Lead and support projects, including requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live support., • Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, work instructions, and configuration records., • Deliver end-user training and support user adoption across ERP modules., • Support change management initiatives related to ERP and system enhancements., • Lead the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring optimal system reliability, performance, and uptime., • Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the company’s goals, driving business growth and operational efficiency., • Manage and optimize the Office365 ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing the platform's potential., • Oversee technology projects from inception to execution, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations., • Safeguard data security and compliance with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring a secure environment for company assets and information., • Develop policies and procedures for IT operations, security, and disaster recovery., • Lead all device management activities. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and supply analysis, projections and reports to leadership., • Coordinate software licensing, hardware procurement, telecom services, and support contracts., • Manage relationships with external IT vendors, service providers, and contractors., • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts, • Provide best in class support for internal users, systems, and applications, • Evaluate and respond to cybersecurity threats. Skills/Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred., • 5–10 years of progressive experience in ERP system management, business systems integration, finance/operations support or IT systems implementation., • At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position., • Expertise in Microsoft Office 365, cloud services, and related technologies., • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity best practices., • Proven track record of leading ERP-related projects, including system enhancements, integrations, and process optimization initiatives., • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or production environments strongly preferred., • Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor)., • Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT., • Advanced knowledge of ERP configuration, workflows, integrations, and architecture., • Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting processes, and posting controls., • Proficiency with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (IFS Business Reporter, Report Designer, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)., • Experience designing and supporting system integrations and data workflows., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders., • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Collaborative, hands-on, and process-driven mindset., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders., • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams., • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing business needs., • High attention to detail and commitment to process compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement., • Strong knowledge of business processes across supply chain, inventory, production, and warehouse management., • Deep understanding of ERP configuration, system workflows, and architecture design., • Proficient in SQL and database management for reporting and data validation., • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports)., • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure system reliability.
