Responsibilities • Set up and maintain proper mise en place for service, • Check quality of delivered products and reject incorrect or substandard ingredients, • Prepare and portion ingredients for service according to recipes and specifications, • Cook and execute menu items consistently and efficiently during service, • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, • Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and tools, • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Department of Health (DOH) regulations, • Practice safe working habits and uphold workplace safety standards, • Check quality of prepared dishes and ensure all food meets restaurant standards, • Assist with inventory organization, storage, and receiving deliveries, • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment Qualifications • Previous experience as a Prep Cook, Line Cook, or similar kitchen position, • Basic knife skills, including vegetable preparation and protein breakdown, • Proficient knowledge of DOH food handling and sanitation practices, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to detail and consistency, • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
