Position Overview: The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the People Operations department, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. This role ensures HR processes are carried out efficiently, supports employees and managers with HR-related inquiries, and helps maintain a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities: • Administer weekly payroll, benefits programs, 401(k), and maintain HRIS employee records., • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding., • Support employee development initiatives such as training, cross-training, and career development programs., • Maintain positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, assisting in conflict resolution, and supporting employee engagement activities., • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies., • Coordinate the performance management process, including distributing performance reviews, tracking completion, and assisting managers with feedback tools., • Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, and employee benefits communications., • Maintain and update HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and employee files., • Assist in the administration of OSHA programs, worker’s compensation, unemployment claims, and safety initiatives., • Coordinate employee recognition programs, events, and appreciation activities., • Support HR metrics tracking and reporting to help improve HR processes., • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including 5S, kaizens, and safety initiatives. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus., • 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting., • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization., • Experience handling payroll and benefits administration., • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems., • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
