This position offers a hybrid schedule, with four in-office work days and 1 remote work day per week. The Position Wilson Elser's White Plains office is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to work with a leading Medical Malpractice and Long-Term Care defense team. Key Responsibilities • Prepare legal filings: format documents, pull exhibits, proofread and redact documents, • Prepare court filings, become familiar with court rules and filing procedures, • E-file court filings, • Open new matters, • Document management and organization, saving to network, indexing for file room, • Retrieve court decisions from Westlaw, • Prepare cover letters for attorney bills, • Input billing information into billing software, • Schedule conferences and depositions, maintain attorney calendars, • 2+ years Litigation experience, • Prior experience with litigation involving Medical Malpractice, • Must have prior experience with litigation procedures and processes, e-filing, and creating table of authorities, • Familiarity with New York State and Federal court procedures and rules, • Ability to work in a team-based setting with other Legal Secretaries supporting a group of attorneys, • Open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks, • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment, • Excellent typing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Outlook, Excel), • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Benefits: Outstanding benefits package, including 401k match and generous PTO plan, • Career Growth: Ample opportunities for professional development and advancement

Location(s): Boston (MA); Greenwich, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, West Hartford (CT); Parsippany (NJ) About the Role This position is ideal for an associate attorney with at least 4 years of eDiscovery experience, including discovery project management and strategy, who is looking to work in a sophisticated, team-oriented environment. This is a non-partnership track role offering exposure to high-volume and complex discovery matters across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all aspects of the discovery process, including document collection, review, production, and vendor management. * Develop and implement efficient, cost-effective eDiscovery and compliance strategies. * Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth discovery operations. * Leverage technology and AI tools to manage large data volumes throughout the discovery lifecycle. * Draft and respond to discovery-related documents, including objections, motions, and production specifications. * Provide guidance and training to junior attorneys, contract attorneys, and staff. * Stay current on legal and regulatory developments affecting eDiscovery, data privacy, and information governance. Qualifications * J.D. and bar admission in good standing in the applicable jurisdiction. * Minimum 4 years of experience in eDiscovery, preferably in a law firm setting. * Proven ability to manage large-scale discovery projects and teams. * Proficiency with eDiscovery software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance). * Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Compensation The expected annual salary range is $155,000–$165,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
