Job DescriptionEmployee Services Manager, Leave AdministrationPosition Summary The Employee Services Manager, Leave Administration is responsible for overseeing all Leave of Absence (LOA) programs for an organization of 1,800+ employees. This role ensures compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations related to leave administration, workers’ compensation, OSHA, and other employment programs. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position operates in a dynamic, hands-on environment and provides expert guidance on HR policies, employment law compliance, and employee relations. Key Responsibilities • Manage all Leave of Absence programs, including application processing, employee participation, benefits coordination, and regulatory compliance for both the company and employees., • Maintain expert-level knowledge of current federal and state regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, CFRA, PDL, USERRA, OSHA, and Workers’ Compensation., • Oversee workers’ compensation cases, including documentation, reporting, monitoring, and case resolution., • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and medical clinics involved in injury evaluations., • Serve as Co‑Chair of the company-wide Safety Committee., • Ensure completion of all required OSHA training and compliance with OSHA standards across the organization., • Attend, document, and report on all legal proceedings related to workers’ compensation or leave of absence claims., • Manage and coordinate ergonomic evaluations for office-based and remote/home-based employees., • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws., • Administer and continuously improve human resources policies, procedures, and programs., • Research, draft, and implement HR guidelines, policies, and procedures to support organizational needs., • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery., • Oversee payroll administration, including:, • Time sheet collection and payroll hour calculations, • Allocation of benefit costs, • Vacation, sick, and holiday accruals, • Wage garnishment administration, • Provide employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, performance improvement counseling, and internal investigations., • Conduct and manage investigations related to discrimination and unfair employment practices, including matters involving federal and state agencies., • Collaborate with executive leadership to design and deliver employee-focused services and programs., • Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment., • Exercise sound judgment, initiative, and independent decision-making with strong problem-solving capabilities., • Support and align with organizational goals and values., • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Required Skills, • Workers’ Compensation Administration, • Leave Management / Leave of Absence Programs, • Employee Relations, • Employee Benefits AdministrationQualifications, • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) and HR certification, or equivalent combination of education and related experience., • 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong focus on leave administration., • Prior supervisory or management experience., • Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, including OSHA, ADA, EEO, Workers’ Compensation, employment law, compensation, benefits, and employee relations., • Proficiency with PC applications, including spreadsheets, databases, and ad hoc reporting., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.Experience Level Regal Medical Group provides employees a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid medical, pharmacy, and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement savings, and paid time off (PTO).
