Job DescriptionMAIN FUNCTION Conduct detailed data analysis to improve supply chain operations and procurement execution, driving efficiency, service levels, and cost optimization. Assume responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of goods across assigned categories. Perform all operational activities related to procurement, including purchasing, planning, supplier coordination, and contract manufacturing support. Execute buying and planning activities within assigned categories, ensuring alignment with forecasts, inventory targets, and production requirements. Support global procurement and supply chain initiatives, including the execution of commodity strategies, supplier management programs, and supply chain improvement initiatives. Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics to support both short‑term and long‑term decision‑making related to costing, trends, availability, and supply outlooks, preparing analysis and recommendations for Procurement and Supply Chain leadership. QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 8 years of planning experience, • 10+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment, • Proven knowledge and experience in supplier management, contract manufacturers, sourcing, and supply chain and inventory management, • Strong experience supporting supplier negotiations and pricing discussions through cost analysis, RFQs, and recommendations, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and present cost and performance analysis to management, • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, • ERP/MRP experience required; Power BI experience a plus, • Familiarity with consignment models and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, • PNY suppliers and contract manufacturers, • PNY Procurement and Supply Chain teams, • Planning, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and RMA departmentsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning, Data & Execution, • Collect and analyze data from supply, inventory, forecast, demand, and market sources, • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics, • Perform cost, lead‑time, and supply analysis, • Prepare and present reports, data, and recommendations, • Benchmark and track performance metrics to identify trends and risks, • Apply sound supply chain analysis techniques to identify performance issues, • Analyze actual purchasing activity against forecasts and adjust execution approaches as neededSupplier & Contract Manufacturer Management, • Manage day‑to‑day supplier and contract manufacturer operations across assigned categories, • Support supplier performance evaluations, assessments, and review sessions, • Track and evaluate supplier pricing, terms, delivery performance, quality, and responsiveness, • Develop and maintain accessible supplier profiles, including financial stability and technology capabilities, • Drive cost‑reduction opportunities across product lines through analysis and execution, • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier performance and collaborationProcurement & Buying Execution, • Execute purchase order management activities, including RFQs, PO issuance, updates to pricing and ship dates, and production schedule coordination, • Execute and monitor MRP output; review forecasts for inventory liability and on‑time delivery risk, • Coordinate PO modifications with suppliers and communicate updates internally, • Execute procurement planning processes with suppliers and contract manufacturing partners to balance demand, capacity, and asset utilizationInventory, Supply Chain & Market Support, • Recommend and support improvements in supply chain performance, including cash‑to‑cash cycles, inventory levels, flexibility, and information flow, • Support initiatives to reduce inventory DOS while improving overall OTTR performance, • Provide market intelligence and analysis to support competitiveness and profitability, • Work with suppliers to support and enhance PNY’s product line portfolioCross‑Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving, • Partner with Planning on weekly demand reviews, forecast analysis, and production planning, • Maintain daily communication with domestic and overseas suppliers regarding RFQs, issues, and shipment tracking, • Lead root‑cause analysis and issue resolution related to supply, quality, and receiving challenges, • Track, escalate, and resolve open supplier issues, • Support Quarterly Business Reviews through data collection, analysis, and presentation developmentContract Manufacturing & Inventory Control, • Manage consigned parts and raw materials at contract manufacturing sites, • Issue work orders and material allocations to support production requirements, • Oversee receipts of consigned material and finished goods, • Partner with Finance and Inventory Control to ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory at CMsAdditional Responsibilities, • Maintain procurement‑related part and supplier data in PNY’s ERP system, • Support RMA activities involving supplier repair or return processes, • Assist in additional categories or initiatives as business needs evolve COMPENSATION: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
