Account Manager and Barber Lead Sales

Job Description About FindACut FindACut connects men with great local barbers across the United States. Brand ambassadors work professional sporting events at every NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and MLS venue in the country — collecting verified male consumer leads at scale. Those leads are delivered to subscribed barber shops by zip code on monthly auto-renewing subscriptions. In Seattle alone our ambassador team works 148 professional sporting events per year generating over 138,000 verified leads annually — routed automatically to subscribed barbers across the metro by zip code. We are hiring Area Managers now. Territories are being assigned to qualified candidates immediately. The Role As an Area Manager you own an exclusive zip code territory within the Greater Seattle metro. You are the only FindACut contact a barber ever interacts with. You own the relationship completely — from the first walk-in to the renewal call twelve months later. This is a pure sales and account management role. You walk into barber shops every day with verified leads from their neighborhood already on your screen and you close subscriptions. Then you come back and make sure those barbers are converting leads into loyal clients — because a barber who converts stays subscribed forever. The leads are already there. Our ambassador team collects them at every professional sporting event in the metro — 148 events per year in Seattle alone. Your job is not to generate leads. Your job is to make sure every lead has a subscribed barber waiting to receive it. What You Are Selling Barbers subscribe to receive verified local leads at $20 per lead. Subscriptions are prepaid in packs that auto-renew automatically when the balance runs low. Barbers never manually repurchase — the revenue recurs every month without a follow-up sale. Package Barber Pays Auto-Renews At Your 30% 20-lead pack $400/month 5 leads remaining $120/month 50-lead pack $1,000/month 10 leads remaining $300/month Each zip code holds up to four barber subscribers. A fully loaded 8–12 zip territory with most barbers on 50-packs generates $28,000–$40,000 in monthly subscription revenue. Your 30% is $8,400–$12,000 per month. The Sales Conversation "I already have leads from men in your zip code who said they want a new barber. They're in our system right now with no barber assigned to receive them. You want them or should I walk down the street?" That is not a pitch. That is an inventory problem with an obvious solution. You are not selling a promise — you are showing proof on a screen. The leads exist. The barber either claims them or the shop next door does. Sales Stage What You Say Expected Close Rate Pre-launch — 2 weeks before market opens "We launch in 2 weeks. 2,000 leads hit Week 1. One slot left in your zip." 80%+ Week 1 — leads already delivered "We launched Monday. Your zip has leads sitting unrouted right now." 90%+ Month 2+ — proof established "Barbers in your zip converted 18 leads last month into regulars. Want in?" 95%+ Compensation You earn 30% of all barber subscription revenue generated in your territory — on every new sale and every automatic monthly renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew. Once your territory is built your commission runs every month without reselling. Territory Stage Monthly Revenue Your 30% Annual Earnings Ramp — 4 zips active ~$11,200 ~$3,360/mo ~$40,320 Growth — 6 zips active ~$16,800 ~$5,040/mo ~$60,480 Active — 8 zips ~$22,400 ~$6,720/mo ~$80,640 Full — 10 zips ~$28,000 ~$8,400/mo ~$100,800 Peak — 12 zips, 50-packs ~$40,000 ~$12,000/mo ~$144,000 OTE $140,000 at full territory with most barbers on 50-packs. The upgrade path from 20-pack to 50-pack more than doubles your commission per barber — from $120 to $300 per month — without a single new sale. Responsibilities Barber Sales — Ramp Phase (Days 1–30) This phase is a sprint. Leads are flowing from Day 1. Every unrouted lead in your territory is a performance failure. Your singular focus is getting barbers signed before leads pile up. • 5 or more new barber subscriptions per week, • 20 or more barbers signed before your first major event, • Walk into shops daily — show the leads, close the slot, send DocuSign, collect Stripe payment before you leave, • 70% of territory slots filled within 30 days Barber Retention — Maintenance Phase (Day 31 onward) The sprint is over. The territory is built. Your job is now protecting what you built. • Replace every cancelled slot within 30 days, • Weekly check-in calls with every barber in their first 90 days of subscription, • Identify at-risk barbers before they cancel — intervene before the cancellation, not after, • Coach barbers on lead follow-up speed — they must call within 2 hours of delivery, • Drive 50-pack upgrades — the data supports it once barbers start converting, • Maintain a waitlist for every full zip so slot replacements are immediate Your Territory You are assigned an exclusive territory of 8–12 zip codes. Seven territories are available across the Greater Seattle metro. First qualified candidate to select a territory receives the assignment.
