Job DescriptionDescription: Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at the INSPYRE Innovation Hub. This role is key in creating a welcoming and organized environment for startups, investors, mentors, clients, and guests. The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, handle communications, coordinate meeting spaces, and provide administrative support to the CenterState CEO staff based in the facility. A strong interest in entrepreneurship & innovation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment are essential. All Resumes should be submitted by Thursday September 25th, 2025 Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) • Greet and welcome clients, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and guests., • Maintain a professional and inviting reception area., • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails., • Manage general inquiries and route messages to appropriate team members., • Assist in the scheduling and preparation of conference rooms., • Support logistics for events, workshops, meetings & programs., • Assist with calendar management, document preparation, invoicing, and internal communications., • Provide administrative support to CenterState CEO staff in the facility., • Maintain a visitor log and ensure compliance with security protocols., • Manage mail and package deliveries., • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors for facility maintenance., • Help foster a positive, collaborative environment within the innovation hub.Requirements: Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role. Skills & Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and SalesForce. Comfortable using scheduling tools and office management software (e.g., Calendly, All Booked, Slack, Notion, Zoom). Preferred Attributes: Experience in a startup, coworking space, or fast-paced office environment is a plus. Interest in entrepreneurship, or the innovation ecosystem. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment. Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Positive attitude, team player, and solution-oriented mindset. Supervisory Responsibility: None Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 12pm to 8pm. but may require after work or weekend hours depending on need. Travel: None Special Requirements: None Physical and Mental Requirements: Close mental and visual attention required to perform work, verbal communication, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading. General office equipment is used. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and push and/or pull up to 20-pound loads at a time relative to event-based equipment. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Work Environment: There is no exposure to known adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed in a typical office work environment.
