Job Description Role and Responsibilities: The Revenue Cycle Manager plays a pivotal role in managing end-to-end revenue cycle operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely financial performance for assigned clients/staff. This individual serves as the primary liaison between clients, internal and external operations teams including RCM team members, focusing on optimizing revenue processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements. The Revenue Cycle Manager will build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, RCM team members, by proactively supporting them in maximizing collections, reducing denials, and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as days in A/R, net collection rate, and clean claims rate. This role also involves active engagement in operational planning, coordination with internal departments, and continuous process improvement efforts to drive client satisfaction and retention in a third-party billing environment. Core Responsibilities Revenue Cycle Operations & Client Management (50%) • Serve as the key contact for escalated day-to-day client communications and issue resolution related to RCM services., • Manage individual client load assigned., • Onboarding new clients into RCM services., • Software auditing to ensure accuracy of billing., • Train and assist with day-to-day questions from the RCM team both on and offshore operations., • Conduct ongoing analysis of client revenue cycle performance and provide insights and recommendations for process improvements., • Identify trends in denials, underpayments, and claim rejections, and work with internal teams to implement corrective actions., • Assist in developing and monitoring KPIs with RCM team members and clients, aligning performance metrics., • Lead/assist in implementation and optimization efforts for billing, collections, coding, and payment posting workflows., • Conduct, create and maintain training documents for the RCM team., • Collaborate with the offshore team to ensure accuracy and timely follow-up on all payer ageing accounts., • Ensure all RCM processes and procedures are according to SLA timelines and client expectations. Client Engagement & Strategic Support (30%) • Facilitate with the RCM team for regular client meetings, including monthly Business Reviews, to review financial and operational outcomes., • Present performance dashboards, workflow assessments, and strategic recommendations for clients assigned., • Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their evolving business needs and translate them into actionable RCM strategies., • Facilitate with direct reports for regular one on one, training, continued support to achieve individual and department goals. Cross-functional Collaboration (10%) • Partners with internal departments including Operations, Implementation, and Product to resolve issues, escalate concerns, and drive client initiatives., • Function as a client advocate within the organization, ensuring that internal teams align with client goals and expectations. Documentation & Reporting (10%) • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM systems to track client interactions, commitments, and issues., • Prepare and deliver custom and standard reports to clients and internal leadership., • Support billing and invoicing month end processes, including review and approval of invoices related to RCM services. Required Skills & Attributes: • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management across all phases: eligibility, charge capture, coding, billing, payment posting, and collections., • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills., • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to interpret financial data and operational trends., • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)., • Familiarity with CRM systems and medical billing platforms (e.g., Aloha, Central Reach, Rethink, Change healthcare, Office Ally, Availity or similar). Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration or relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience., • 10+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (required)., • 6+ years in client-facing roles, such as client services, account management, or consulting., • Experience collaborating with physician groups, billing companies, or health systems is highly desirable.Company DescriptionAlohaABA is a leading provider of practice management software designed specifically for Autism Clinics.
