Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services at a middle school setting in San Jose, CA. This is a part-time, contracted position for the school year, starting August 12th. The role requires bilingual Spanish skills and involves working four days per week with children from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. Key Qualifications: • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or School Speech Therapist credential, • Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school environment (preferred), • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required, • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques for children grades TK-8, • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20-30 students, • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments, • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress, • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines This opportunity is ideal for a speech-language pathologist seeking to work within an educational setting helping diverse learners improve communication skills.
