Job Description Primary Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee various environmental projects, including but not limited to remedial actions, field sampling, groundwater investigations, and munitions response projects., • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project proposals, demonstrating proficiency in project management methodologies., • Develop and implement remedial and removal strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client expectations., • Supervise personnel and provide mentorship to staff, fostering their professional development in technical areas., • Cultivate expertise in designated technical domains, establishing internal recognition as a valuable technical resource., • Demonstrate proficiency in project management fundamentals, including scheduling, cost controls, and client communication., • Maintain regular communication with clients and regulatory agencies, managing expectations and ensuring transparency throughout projects., • Report project status and progress to program managers, facilitating effective decision-making and resource allocation. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in environmental and engineering consulting, with a focus on remedial actions and munitions response projects., • Proficiency in MS Office Suite Products., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff, and subcontractors., • Proficient in writing project work plans, health and safety plans, and other necessary documentation., • 40-hour OSHA certification and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher., • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university., • Willingness to travel up to 25 to 50 percent of the time to project sites, as required. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field., • Additional professional certifications such as M.S., P.E., P.G., or equivalent., • Demonstrated experience in managing and executing environmental remediation construction projects.
